Beginners Bollywood Dance Classes

Level 1

Bollywood dancing is a fun and energetic form of dance from the Bollywood movies. It fuses different dance styles - from Jazz to classical Indian dance and Bhangra to Hip-Hop and Commercial Street dance.

Our Bollywood dance classes are bursting with energy and are designed in a progressive format.

Each week you will cover the foundations - basic Bollywood dance moves, in an energetic way, followed by a choreography to a piece of music that you can practice and perform.

Instructors

  • Shreeya

    Shree is a Bollywood dancer, teacher, and choreographer who has danced since the age of 8. She’s trained in a number of styles that makes up Bollywood and likes to blend classical, commercial, bhangra styles in her routines.

    Over the years, she’s had the opportunity to dance at a number of prestigious events both in London and abroad, and has now turned her attention to teaching. As Bollywood has been the source of so much joy and energy for her, she’s keen to have her students experience the same. Her classes are guaranteed to be high energy, fun and stimulating.

  • What to wear in a Bollywood dance class?

    Soft, comfortable clothing such as leggings, tracksuit bottoms and a top of your choice. Please, no jeans or skirts! Trainers or barefoot are both fine.
