FAQs
-
What to wear in a ballroom and latin class?
Smart casual clothing and comfortable shoes. If you are a beginner normal shoes (ideally with leather sole) are a good choice. Trainers, boots and high heels are not recommended. Small heel for ladies is most suitable but flat shoes are acceptable too.
-
I am on my own, do I need to bring a partner?
You will be rotated with the other students whom have no partner either, so having a partner join with you is not necessary.
To ensure all students have an enjoyable time, we actively monitor the bookings to ensure there is not too much of an imbalance
It is advantageous to make your booking early as sometimes you will see just before the course starts on the timetable restictions for a particular sex if there is proving to be too much of one over the other.
-
My partner and I wish to stay together on the course, is this possible or do we have to rotate?
Whilst it is highly recommended to improve both leading and following quickly (essential to being able to dance outside of class) at the beginner level, couples who join together do not rotate unless the tell the instructor they wish to.
