Nuno
Nuno has 15+ years of continuous teaching experience and specialises in all Ballroom and Latin styles as well as Salsa, Bachata, Jazz and Wedding dance choreography. He has competed internationally and has also worked as a choreographer in a number of TV Dance shows.
Nuno has a warm and friendly personality which puts everyone at ease and helps his students achieve excellent progress in each lesson or program he is teaching.

Annabelle is a qualified dance teacher and holds a diploma in dance teaching from Laban.
She has a bubbly and fun personality and is experienced in teaching a large variety of styles such as Salsa, Bachata, Zouk, Swing, Ballroom, Street dance, Diva dance and Wedding dance.

What exactly is a Swing Dance Taster?
Our swing dance taster is a one-off, 60-minute session designed to give you a "test drive" of our classes. You’ll learn the very basics of East Coast Swing in a fun, high-energy environment. It’s the perfect way to see if you enjoy the music and our teaching style before committing to a full course.

Do I need any previous experience for the taster?
None at all! Our swing dance taster London sessions are built for absolute beginners. Most people in the room will be trying swing for the very first time. We start from zero—no "natural rhythm" or dance background required.

Do I need to bring a partner to the taster?
No partner is needed. In our swing dance taster, we rotate partners throughout the class. This is a great way to meet new people and experience the social side of swing dancing right away. If you do come with a partner and prefer to stay together for the trial, that is perfectly fine too.

What style of swing will we try in the taster?
We focus on East Coast Swing. We’ve chosen this for our taster sessions because it is the most accessible and "instant" style of swing. You’ll be able to dance a basic step to upbeat music within the first 15 minutes of the class!

What should I wear to my swing dance taster?
You don't need vintage outfits or special shoes. For your swing dance taster, we recommend:
Clothing: Anything comfortable you can move in (jeans, leggings, or a T-shirt).
Footwear: Flat, comfortable shoes like Keds, Toms, or clean, smooth-soled trainers. Avoid heavy boots or high heels, as they make the "swing bounce" much harder to learn.

Will I be forced to sign up for a full course?
Not at all. The taster is a "try before you buy" experience. At the end of the session, we’ll explain how our progressive course works and how you can continue your journey, but there is no obligation to sign up on the spot.

Where are the swing dance tasters held?
Our tasters take place in our central London dance studios, usually near major Tube hubs like Euston, Kings Cross, and Westminster. These are professional spaces with great floors, perfect for getting your first taste of swing.

What is your cancellation policy?
Taster class fees are non-refundable. Because we limit the number of students in our London dance tasters to ensure everyone gets enough space and attention, your booking secures a spot that cannot be filled by someone else.
